Fierce fighting rages on for second day, as Congolese army claims advances against rebel group forces. Ambassador Henry Cohen, former Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, says the situation is likely to unravel further as the new agreement, if not signed, will not serve the interests of those sponsoring the M23 rebels.
