[amakurunamateka.com] Re: [uRwanda_rwacu] General Karake’s legal defence is political motivated. it is questionable and not credible.

There African countries that are facing bloody terrorism. These are North African countries, Mali, Kenya, Somali, and Uganda. It is not Rwanda at all. These countries need UK's help in fighting against terrorism.

A the next extradition hearings, Kagame's spy, General Karake should explain  the purpose of his frequent travels to UK and the planned meeting the head of M16 while he was under Interpol arrest warrant.

Subject: [uRwanda_rwacu] General Karake's legal defence is political motivated. it is questionable and not credible.

The  legal defence of Kagame's spy, General Karake is already questionable and not credible. General Karake's  legal defence is political motivated.

The defence team  includes the wife of Tony Blair who is also   has been an  advisor of Kagame for the last 20 years. Tony Blair worked informally  for Kagame during  Kagame's guerrilla war and then  this was formalised when Kagame took power. This is a matter of conflict of interests and credibility that  the judge  should consider in Karake's extradition hearings.

We believe that  Chairy Blair should not be not be part of  Karake's defence team. Also the  planned meetings with the head of M16  now brings new elements in the Rwandan genocide and war. We believe that  probably M16 knows or was involved in the assassination of former President Habyarimana and other  three Presidents in Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo. Karake and Kagame were involved in these assassinations. It is unbelievable that  M16 which regularly meets Karake and other Kagame's spies,  M16 did not meet or work with them during the preparations of Kagame's war and its implementation that involved the above assassinations.

Additionally, including the wife of the UK former Prime Minister in the defence team  and Karake revelations that he  was in the UK to meet with the head of M16 is an attempt to intimidate the judges and the court involved in this case. All this is the evidence of the trail of UK 'involvement in Rwandan war and genocide.

Subject: Rwandan top spy, Karake was due to meet with the head of Britain's foreign intelligence, M16

There was planned meeting between Karake the head of Britain's foreign intelligence, M16

What was that meeting for ?

Answer:

·      Kagame is  cheating  the  head of M16 that  Rwanda is important  ally to UK  by  helping UK intelligence work in East Africa.

·      or Rwanda truly spies other Eastern  African countries, in particular East African leaders on behalf of UK

·      or Karake was reporting to the head of M16 about the spying work carried out by Rwanda on behalf of the head of M16.

·      Or  Karake was bringing an updated new list of UK Hutu exiles to be arrested or to be be refused refugee status or  British nationality ?

Rwanda spy chief Karenzi Karake 'in UK to meet MI6'

The Rwandan spy chief arrested in the UK over alleged war crimes came to London to meet the head of MI6, sources have told BBC Newsnight.
Karenzi Karake, the head of Rwanda's intelligence services, was to meet Alex Younger last Thursday morning but the meeting was cancelled at the last moment, according to those familiar with the general's itinerary.
Gen Karake, 54, was granted £1m ($1.6m) bail on Thursday at Westminster Magistrates Court ahead of a full extradition hearing in October.
Lawyers acting for him, including Cherie Booth QC, made clear they believe the charges against him are politically motivated.
He was arrested at Heathrow airport on Saturday under a European Arrest Warrant on behalf of authorities in Spain where he is wanted in connection with alleged war crimes against civilians.

Political embarrassment

Gen Karake appeared in court wearing a green and yellow jumpsuit. He has been held since Saturday at Belmarsh high security prison in east London.
Whitehall sources neither confirmed nor denied details of MI6's engagement with Gen Karake.
The claim that he was due to meet Britain's most senior intelligence official will add to political embarrassment over his detention.

Rwanda's Chief of Intelligence, General Karenzi Karake has been granted conditional bail by the Westminster court in London. Following a European Arrest Warrant, Gen. Karenzi had been detained at London Heathrow Airport on Saturday as he boarded a plane back to Rwanda. In its judgement, court said Gen. Karenzi would be freed once a bail of $1.6 million is paid and other bail conditions have been met. Among the war crimes that Gen. Karenzi is accused of by a Spanish court include giving orders of massacres in the wake of the 1994 genocide. Gen. Karenzi is also accused of ordering the killing of Spanish aid workers in 1997.
Earlier in the day, President Kagame had launched a scathing verbal attack on the UK Government and other Western governments accusing them of double standards, arrogance and contempt. According to the BBC Newsnight programme, the intelligence chief was in the UK to meet the head of Britain's foreign intelligence, M16. Gen. Karenzi will be required to report daily to Police until he's vindicated and will be expected to reside at the high commissioner's house or at a house rented by the Rwandan embassy.

-“The root cause of the Rwandan tragedy of 1994 is the long and past historical ethnic dominance of one minority ethnic group to the other majority ethnic group. Ignoring this reality is giving a black cheque for the Rwandan people’s future and deepening resentment, hostility and hatred between the two groups.”
