His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta
President Elect
Harambee House
Harambee Avenue
P.O. Box 30510
Nairobi
Subject: Congratulations
Your Excellency President Elect,
It gives us immense pleasure to extend, on behalf of the Rwandan opposition platform FDU-INKINGI and Rwanda National Congress (RNC), our warmest congratulations and sincere greetings to Your Excellency, as you start this journey as the historic winner of the 2013 presidential election in Kenya.
We are confident that your leadership will contribute to bring about a lasting solution in the whole East African Community and in Africa. People from the EAC are starving for a deeper regional integration  promoting more democracy, freedoms, rule of law and good governance. "The crisis of governance in Rwanda, where basic political, civic and fundamental human freedoms are denied to Rwandan citizens, is turning into a regional crisis, with great potential to turn into another bloodbath".
We wish you great strength, perseverance and every success.

-“The root cause of the Rwandan tragedy of 1994 is the long and past historical ethnic dominance of one minority ethnic group to the other majority ethnic group. Ignoring this reality is giving a black cheque for the Rwandan people’s future and deepening resentment, hostility and hatred between the two groups.”
