[haguruka.com] Re: President Kagame speaking at AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.

Olivier,

Could you name just one individual you may know who truly denies the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda, and show us clearly how he/ she does so, in accordance with the international law, so that Kagame's call for solidarity against genocide deniers may become more meainingful?

"Together with friends like the United States, we must call for renewed global solidarity, against the relentless efforts to deny genocide", President Paul Kagame at AIPAC 2017.

"My message today is simple: Rwanda is, without question, a friend of Israel. I wanted to take a moment, to tell you why. No tragedy is so vast that human ingenuity & resilience cannot give rise to a better future. The survival and renewal of our two nations, testifies to this truth.Until all ideologies, which justify killing as a patriotic duty, are defeated, our world is not truly safe. Together with friends like the United States, we must call for renewed global solidarity, against the relentless efforts to deny genocide, and trivialise the victims. For Rwanda and many other countries in Africa, engaging productively with Israel, has opened new horizons. We look forward to doing even more together."

-“The root cause of the Rwandan tragedy of 1994 is the long and past historical ethnic dominance of one minority ethnic group to the other majority ethnic group. Ignoring this reality is giving a black cheque for the Rwandan people’s future and deepening resentment, hostility and hatred between the two groups.”
