Rwanda: Congratulations to King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima

Rwanda: Congratulations to King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima

Lausanne, April 30, 2013.
Your Majesty King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima
It is our great pleasure to congratulate you as New King and Queen of the Netherlands, on behalf of the Rwandan opposition party FDU-Inkingi.
We have enjoyed many years of Queen Beatrix and have full confidence that we will also enjoy your kingship.
We could use this opportunity to foster cooperation with Rwanda, especially your knowledge about the administration and management of water and the support from Queen Maxima with respect to micro-credits. But before we get there, we desperately need your support in our fight to help us explain to the Rwandan government that peace, freedom of expression and fair trial for everyone, are vital for any democracy.
Once again, congratulations on your inauguration and your coronation for many years to come.
Yours sincerely,
FDU-Inkingi Coordinating Committee
Dr. Nkiko Nsengimana
Coordinator

-“The root cause of the Rwandan tragedy of 1994 is the long and past historical ethnic dominance of one minority ethnic group to the other majority ethnic group. Ignoring this reality is giving a black cheque for the Rwandan people’s future and deepening resentment, hostility and hatred between the two groups.”
